AbilityNet’s Alex gets sent to Coventry
We’re thrilled that Alex Barker, one of our Advice and Information Officers based in Warwick, is going to take part in the Coventry Fun Run on Sunday 28th June. While you’re having a lay in on a Sunday morning, he’ll be out running and raising money for AbilityNet.
“This is the second time I’ve run the Coventry fun Run. Last time I managed to raise £500 and it took me 47 minutes to do. This year I want to beat my time. I have a rare condition called Moebius Syndrome which affects my hands, face and legs but cognitively I’m fine apart from wanting to run the Fun Run again!”
Please support Alex by sponsoring him online at www.justgiving.com/alexbarker.
