DoItForCharity – DoItForAbilityNet
16/04/2010
Would you like to have a pleasant Cycle Ride through beautiful areas in Surrey on Sunday 20th June 2010 either 50 or 100 miles and know that at the same time you are helping someone? With your support AbilityNet can help people with disabilities to use a computer, people like Luke who is nine years old and as a result of macrogyria – a genetic condition – he is quadriplegic and has no speech. Following AbilityNet´s recommendations, he is now benefiting enormously from having a computer at home, much to the delight of his mum, Jane.
"Having an adapted computer is opening up Luke´s world"
AbilityNet is delighted to announce that we have 20 places available in the DoItForCharity 2010 cycle ride this year and we would love you to join in and raise much needed funds for us. You can do this either by creating a just giving page and getting people to sponsor you online by going to http://www.justgiving.com/ or by contacting Sue Turlin for a sponsorship form to circulate to friends and family.
For 2010 the DoItForCharity.com cycle series is kicking off in London starting in Richmond with a route planned to follow the Thames through Walton-on-Thames, Cobham and Windsor countryside.
When you register you are given the option to choose the distance, at this point you will pay the deposit. Once your deposit is received you will be sent conformation.
